On 30 August 2024, the MSc MTM class had the privilege of attending a guest lecture by Mr Kenneth Lim, Assistant Chief Executive (Industry & Transformation), from the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA).

The lecture, themed "Maritime Industry Fundamentals," provided students with deep insights into the maritime ecosystem, focusing on key areas like digitalisation, decarbonisation, and talent development.

Mr Lim highlighted the critical role these elements play in shaping the future of the maritime industry and discussed the significance of Tuas Port, technology, and future fuels. The interactive session saw active participation from the students, who raised thought-provoking questions on collaboration and the industry's future trajectory.

It was an engaging and enriching experience for all, providing both students and speaker valuable learning opportunities, showcasing the dynamic nature of the maritime industry.
